Job Overview:

Our Bentleyville, Sedalia, and Springfield plants manufacture high-performance vacuum and positive-pressure technologies and engineered systems that support critical industrial operations
worldwide. These sites operate in complex, metal-based manufacturing environments where castings, machined components, and assemblies are transformed into precision, globally recognized products.

We're seeking a Sourcing Supervisor who will play a critical role in driving strategic sourcing initiatives within an aftermarket and distribution-focused supply chain. This role owns supplier negotiations, cost-reduction projects, and sourcing strategies that directly impact service levels, lead times, and total cost. You'll develop and qualify new suppliers, improve performance across existing supply partners, and work closely with operations,
engineering
, and materials teams to ensure sourcing decisions support uptime, responsiveness, and growth. This role puts you in the driver's seat-owning the supplier strategy, strengthening aftermarket availability, and delivering measurable cost and performance wins in a fast-paced industrial equipment environment.

Responsibilities:


  • Identifies, drives, and manages projects to reduce costs of supplied materials and achieve savings goals.


  • Continuously looks for new savings opportunities through analysis of data (spend, purchase price variance, etc.) and hands on review of materials in the production areas.


  • Creates and maintains savings project deck to effectively manage projects. Leads regular meetings with cross-functional team to review project deck and drive projects to timely completion.


  • Identifies and develops new suppliers and improves value-added level of existing suppliers in support of savings, quality, delivery and lead time reduction initiatives.


  • Monitors purchase price variances and resolves discrepancies with internal team members and suppliers.


  • Leads Request for Proposal (RFP) process with all stakeholders.


  • Works with suppliers and internal team members to qualify new parts.


  • Negotiates key items with suppliers including pricing, payment terms, lead time, and inventory programs.


  • Records and tracks information as required for timely and accurate measure of performance regarding sourcing activities and savings.


  • Keeps generally abreast of market trends, commodity pricing, and both domestic and international events that might impact supplier pricing.




Requirements:


  • Bachelor
    's degree in a related field.


  • 10+ years of experience in sourcing/supply chain/procurement in an industrial equipment manufacturing environment.


  • 4+ year's direct experience working in an ERP Software


  • 4+ years demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.




Core Competencies:


  • Supplier Ownership & Supervision: Own supplier strategy for aftermarket and industrial manufacturing while providing day-to-day guidance and direction.


  • Cost & Commercial Impact: Drive real savings through negotiations, cost-down projects, PPV analysis, and hands-on material and spend review.


  • Negotiation & Cross-Functional Influence: Lead RFPs and negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and inventory programs while partnering closely with operations,
    engineering
    , and materials.


  • Data-Driven Execution: Use ERP systems and advanced Excel to track sourcing performance, savings pipelines, and supplier metrics with accuracy and accountability.


  • Problem Solving in Fast-Paced Operations:
    Identify root causes, resolve supplier and system issues, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-interruption manufacturing environment.




Preference:


  • Degree concentration in Supply Chain Management, Engineering
    , or Business.


  • Experience with establishing supply chain for aftermarket, quick-turn-around parts with focus on packaging.


  • Experience with SAP, Oracle or similar.


  • Advanced Excel proficiency preferred, including financial and logical functions, multi-worksheet/workbook management, and data import/export.


  • APICS or similar professional certification.

  • Hybrid based position in Bentleyville, PA or in Sedalia MO, Springfield, MO
