 The Information Systems Analyst will assist in the continuous technical transformation of the Student Financial Services area to enable a frictionless student experience relative to their span of control. The role will directly support the Student Financial Services area with hands-on technical solutions. This position will be the area point of contact for the transition from a fragmented multi-system structure to a data-centric and system-agnostic model. This role will embed business analytics, business requirement elicitation, student system troubleshooting, and enhancement capabilities within Student Financial Services. Key Responsibilities:  
 
   
 - Business Analytics
  
  
     
   - Create, run, and manage queries/reports and statistical evaluation relative to daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports through an array of reporting tools.
 - Perform analyses, identify problems and solutions, make recommendations, and evaluate results relating to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of the student data and systems.
 - Organize system audits and quality assurance to ensure data accuracy.
 
     
    - System Analyst
  
  
     
   - Troubleshoot utilized student system issues and fulfill appropriate enhancement requests from Student Financial Services.
 - Translate the needs of the business in a manner which is consumable to the Division of Information Technology (DoIt). 
 - Deliver solutions to use cases via reporting, system set-up/configuration, or process redesign.
 - Prioritize and educate business owners of delivered system functionality or compatible solutions that address practical use cases.
 - Manage and conduct multi-unit business process reviews.
 - Create, document, and manage gathered business requirements.
 
     
    - Process Improvement & Documentation
  
  
     
   - Map current workflows for aid awarding, billing, collections, and refunds.
 - Identify areas for improvement or automation including leveraging artificial intelligence(AI) solutions.
 - Maintain documentation of financial services processes and standard operating procedures.
 - Participate in or lead process redesign projects.
 
     
    - Cross-Department Collaboration
  
  
     
   - Meet with stakeholders in Student Financial Services, Student Success, Admissions leaders, and the Division of Information Technology to align on process changes or issues.
 - Act as a liaison between Student Financial Services, Office of Analytics & Institutional Research (AIR), and technical teams.
 - Translate business needs into functional requirements.
 
     
    
  
 
 
 
Qualifications:  
 
   
 - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
 - Three (3) years of functional troubleshooting experience with a relational data structure SIS system, Banner preferred.
 - Two (2) years of facilitating business process review (BPR) findings into technical requirements, preferred.
 - Two (2) years of system analyst experience within a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, Salesforce preferred.
 
  
 
 
 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
 
   
 - Fluent in CRM platform, set-up, configuration, and reporting. 
 - Demonstrated ability for abstract thinking.
 - Familiar with business process elicitation and documentation methodologies.
 - Demonstrated ability to create and administer training material.
 - Professional ability with PL/SQL or similar system language.
 - Ability to collaborate with system architects, software architects, design analysts, and others to understand business or industry requirements.
