As a Marketing Copywriter, you'll play a key role in our efforts to craft clear, compelling, and persuasive content for a wide range of traditional and digital, internal and external communication vehicles. The content will translate often complex and technical topics into communications that facilitate engagement opportunities, support Crescent initiatives, demonstrate Crescent's value, and drive revenue. You will work collaboratively with Crescent's Marketing team, Category Management, Supplier Partners, HR, Sales Leadership, CX Leadership, Branch Leadership, a variety of Subject Matter Experts, and other functional areas as necessary.

Primary Duties:

  • Clearly communicate Crescent's brand value in a wide range of B2B and internal communications.

  • Interpret messaging intent along with translating highly technical information to create persuasive Customer focused content.

  • Create copy to communicate Crescent's brand story, value proposition, solution offerings to influence Customer behavior, inform and educate internal stakeholders, and achieve Crescent goals.

  • Collaborate with Suppliers and internal stakeholders to understand the message to be delivered and refine content to meet stakeholder expectations and needs.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert in copy development.

  • Maintain brand voice consistency while helping evolve our brand voice.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, English, communications, or advertising

  • 5+ years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

  • Minimum 3+ years of Copywriting experience in a B2B Distribution environment.

  • Valid Driver's License Required.

  • Exceptional writing and research skills, able to translate complex, technical topics into clear and engaging content.

  • Significant experience utilizing AI tools to create agents, perform research, qualify sources, and create copy.

  • Strong sense of creativity, inquisitiveness, and willingness to help us to be better.

  • Examples of past copywriting work required to be presented.
