Overview

Shermco Industries is seeking a Panel Shop Technician.

Qualifications

Two-year Associates degree in Automation & Controls, Instrumentation, or similar technical program highly preferred

Minimum of five (5) years industrial electrical and controls experience
Thorough understanding of computers, MS Office, basic networking
Electrical understanding of motor controls, VFD's, control loops, pneumatic/hydraulic theory, industrial networking, relay logic and analog & digital signal loop theory.
Basic understanding of Rockwell Automation Logix5000, RSLinx and similar software.
Self-motivated individual - able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Team oriented, flexible and willing to assist in other technical disciplines.
High level understanding of field instruments, electronic test equipment, control valves, control panels, .
Ability to use basic hand tools, ladders, manlifts, etc...
