OVERVIEW:

Working as Full-time IT Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, you will work directly with Fastenal's Business Analysts and Developers to ensure that our programs are meeting business requirements by creating functional, unit, and volume tests. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Communicating with end users to define and clarify business objectives

o Creating and maintaining test cases to support business requirements

o Developing and executing automated test scripts

o Reporting and tracking defects

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

o Possess 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst, Support Analyst, or Business Analyst

o Demonstrate knowledge in writing automated test scripts using QTP or similar toolset

o Knowledge of Oracle SQL and VB Script

o Excellent written and oral communication skills

o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities

o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills

o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency

o Work independently as well as in a team environment

o Willingness to learn new testing processes and development languages

o Pass the required drug screen and background check (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

o Possess or working towards a bachelor's or equivalent degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Science or a related field of study OR relevant work experience

o Fastenal product and industrial distribution knowledge

o Possess a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

COMPENSATION:

The pay range for this position is $65,000 - 90,000.
