The team specializes in overseeing portfolio strategy and analysis across infrastructure and real assets throughout the Americas, including key sectors including transportation, digital infrastructure, waste management, and utilities, in order to provide analysis and recommendations related to strategic capital allocation decisions.

What role will you play?

Responsible for fund valuation and investment performance reporting, including performance reporting and analysis at both fund-level and portfolio company-level for Macquarie Infrastructure Partners series of Investment Funds. Specific duties: compile, coordinate, and review financial performance and strategic initiative updates for MIP's Investment Committee; manage quarterly portfolio valuation process; provide financial analysis and projections regarding fund performance to MIP's Chief Executive Officer and Head of Portfolio and Strategy; and prepare materials regarding portfolio performance and outlook for presentation to external stakeholders.
Salary range for this position: $190,000 to $220,000 per year. Within this salary range the base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. What you offer

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or related field (Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics)
  • 5 years of experience in job offered or 5 years of fund valuation and investment performance experience within investment banking
  • Prior experience must include 3 years working on all aspects of valuations oversight
  • 3 years working on investment performance review and presentations, including providing monthly and quarterly investment performance reporting
  • 3 years overseeing asset model audit reviews, responding to LP queries regarding asset performance and forecast valuations, performing performance fee forecasting, and analyzing valuation sensitivities (e.g., inflation).
