Peraton is seeking a Source Selection Specialist. In this role you will provide critical administrative, analytical, and operational support to the acquisition and procurement teams driving this historic transformation. You will help ensure that complex federal source selection activities - including proposal evaluation, pricing analysis, and contract coordination - are executed with precision, transparency, and compliance. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in federal acquisition, proposal support, or contracting operations who are passionate about contributing to the systems that keep America's skies safe and efficient.

Responsibilities

    Support FAA and Peraton source selection activities by providing administrative and operational assistance across proposal, pricing, and contracting functions.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of acquisition and program management activities related to large-scale FAA modernization initiatives.

  • Review and analyze engineering concepts, requirements, and designs to identify cost and financial considerations.

  • Support the integration of multiple economic and financial analysis tasks within engineering and technical projects.

  • Assist in preparing pricing data and proposal inputs for both standard and custom work.

  • Coordinate quote development and follow-up activities with internal stakeholders, including contracts, finance, and product management teams.

  • Provide input for reconciling purchase orders with quotes - ensuring accuracy in terms of pricing, payment schedules, and delivery timelines.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for customers from receipt of purchase order through delivery of products and services.

  • Coordinate order fulfillment activities including documentation, shipment schedules, invoicing, and warranty tracking.

  • Support export/import compliance activities and ensure all documentation meets FAA and federal regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate closely with sales and business development teams to ensure timely and compliant delivery of services and products.

  • Track and report key metrics to ensure acquisition milestones and customer commitments are met.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA
  • 5+ years of experience supporting procurement, contracting, or source selection activities within a federal or aerospace environment.

  • Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and other federal acquisition policies and procedures.

  • Demonstrated experience with proposal coordination, cost analysis, or contract administration.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience with report preparation and documentation control.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with financial or contract management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting FAA, DoD, or other federal acquisition programs.

  • Familiarity with source selection evaluation processes and documentation requirements.

  • Experience in program financial management or engineering support in a government contracting environment.

  • Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and delivery management practices.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
