Job Description 
  
 
 
 Directs, oversees, and evaluates interdepartmental development, design, implementation and administration of policies, services, programs and operations supporting clinical initiatives. Provides leadership and expertise, program management and oversight for clinical programs. Job Responsibility 
      
    - Leads clinical initiatives across multiple sites by developing, communicating, and building consensus for goals/programs supporting business or regional objectives.
 - Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility to support business objectives.
 - Acts as an advisor to senior and executive leadership on the development of overall policy and long-term goals of clinical initiatives.
 - Drives interdepartmental coordination to implement new programs and strategic projects. Defines program/project goals, requirements, and timelines.
 - Directs operational and administrative activities within areas of responsibility.
 - Identifies opportunities to initiate operational change within department(s).
 - Prepares budget and recommends for approval. Manages day-to-day 
 - budget for department.
 - Oversees the maintenance, analysis and reporting of performance indicators.
 - Regularly collaborates with senior and executive leadership and those outside clinical and/or business area to ensure alignment and achieve business outcomes.
 - Seeks to identify potential new development projects supporting strategic direction for key programs and/or services.
 - Provides direction and guidance to high-level subject matter experts and middle managers. Assists in career development planning.
 - Maintains program compliance with applicable laws and regulations of federal, state, and local governmental agencies and with the standards, rules and regulations of accrediting and approving bodies.
 - Implements and facilitates clinical performance improvement projects that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of patient care across multiple sites.

    Job Qualification 
 
 
 
 
    
  - Bachelor of Science in Nursing, required
 - Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State, required.
 - Specialized certifications, as needed.
 - 8-12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of leadership/management experience, required.
