Reimbursement Specialist

Reimbursement Specialist - Remote (Full Time)

Innovative Renal Care is hiring a Reimbursement Specialist to join our remote Revenue Cycle team. This role focuses on the collections and reimbursement side of the billing process for HMO and contracted insurance payors.

What You'll Do

• Follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely, accurate payment
• Review and resolve denials or underpayments
• Submit appeals and process adjustments
• Apply coinsurance and deductibles correctly
• Review Explanations of Benefits (EOBs)
• Communicate with insurance reps and internal teams
• Maintain detailed documentation and HIPAA compliance

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• 0-2 years of experience in reimbursement, medical collections, or insurance follow-up
• Dialysis or healthcare experience preferred
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare Management preferred
