Position Overview

Pantheon Data is seeking for a motivated Junior Program Analyst with experience in Configuration Management (CM) and program support for Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Defense (DoD), or U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) acquisition programs. This position directly supports the Fast Response Cutter (FRC) Program Management Office (PMO), providing analytical, administrative, and technical assistance across program, logistics, and configuration management activities. The ideal candidate will support the analysis, integration, and implementation of processes and procedures related to Acquisition and Configuration Management (CM), ensuring compliance with organizational standards, facilitating smooth transitions of engineering changes, and enabling efficient coordination across teams to maintain operational continuity. This position requires attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Junior Program Analyst will play a key role in supporting CM activities and ensuring the successful implementation of updated processes.

Responsibilities



  • Support the Configuration Management process, including planning, identification, control, status accounting, and audits in alignment with the FRC Configuration Management Plan and USCG policy.
  • Assist in the preparation, coordination, and execution of Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and related CM reviews and data calls.
  • Maintain configuration documentation, version control, and traceability across technical baselines and program artifacts.
  • Update and manage controlled program documents (e.g., Acquisition Plans, CM Plans) in accordance with the Major Systems Acquisition Manual (MSAM).
  • Support CM and logistics tracking through the USCG SharePoint repository-ensuring all controlled data, decisions, and approvals are properly logged and archived.
  • Analyze cost, schedule, and technical data to support acquisition reviews and program decision events.
  • Assist with development of materials supporting Acquisition Decision Events (ADEs) including briefings, reports, and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with COMDTINST M5000.10D.
  • Facilitate and document Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, technical interchange meetings, and programmatic reviews.
  • Prepare monthly program status reports summarizing key CM activities, document updates, deliverable tracking, and upcoming milestones.
  • Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and program management staff to ensure CM alignment across disciplines.
  • Provide general program support to the FRC PMO, including procurement coordination, document editing, and tracking of deliverables and actions.
  • Assist in meetings, comprehend basic technical information related to configuration management of engineering changes, and effectively communicate and contribute during those meetings.
  • Communicate CM updates and progress to stakeholders, including program managers and leadership.


Required Skills and Experience



  • Familiarity with Configuration Management principles and processes (planning, control, change tracking, audits).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook and OneDrive) as well as SharePoint for document management and collaboration.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Basic understanding of blueprints and foundational experience in interpreting and writing technical information.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, hybrid (on-site/remote) team environment, with the expectation to be readily available and responsive during work hours.


Preferred Skills and Experience



  • Experience supporting a USCG or Naval shipbuilding or sustainment program.
  • Knowledge of DHS and USCG acquisition frameworks, including the MSAM and associated documentation standards.


Education

Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience supporting federal acquisition or technical programs.

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Work Location

Hybrid: Required to be in the office 5 days a week at USCG Headquarters, with a possible option for telework on certain days at the discretion of the government client.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
