Security Officer - Tech Sector Patrol

As a Security Officer - Tech Sector Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure atmosphere for employees and visitors. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and protocols, and responding to incidents and emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using training and judgment to address each situation appropriately.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and to observe any unusual activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure and welcoming environment for employees and visitors within the tech, media, and telecom location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
