Position: Senior Installation Team Lead - AIT (Alteration Installation Team)

Join our National Security Sector supporting shipboard installations both locally and abroad. This hands-on leadership role involves extended travel, physical work, and a dynamic schedule (up to 6 days/week, 10 hours/day). Federal holidays observed.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage Level 1 & 2 team members, including timecards, training, and performance feedback

  • Support the Project Engineer with personnel, planning, and execution of installations

  • Oversee subcontractors and ensure compliance with contractual and safety standards

  • Coordinate with OSIC, ship's force, and customers to meet milestones and resolve conflicts

  • Maintain documentation, QA tracking, and inspection records

  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction through clear communication and reliable execution

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree + 4 years' experience (or Master's + 2 years); equivalent experience considered

  • 4+ years leading AIT operations

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work overhead

  • Familiarity with PPE, shipyard safety, and cable installation

  • US Citizenship, valid driver's license, and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance

Bonus Skills (Preferred)

  • Active DoD Secret clearance

  • OSHA 10, VSRA certification

  • Shipyard experience

  • Microsoft Project proficiency

  • Fiber optic and connector qualifications
