As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential apartment communities, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment for residents and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills to address issues that arise within the residential community.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the apartment complex and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disturbances.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist residents and guests with questions or directions as needed, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
• Work in various residential environments, adapting to different conditions across the property as required by the post.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
