As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Johnson City, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and engaging in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter, observing for unusual or suspicious activity and reporting as necessary.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted areas within the site.
• Maintain visibility throughout the assigned location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a security-related presence.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts according to Allied Universal standards.
• Communicate and collaborate with site personnel, visitors, and/or law enforcement as needed to support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
