As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for guests and staff. Your presence and proactive routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This is a primarily driving post, offering a dynamic workday as you move throughout the property. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, surrounding areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents or hazards found during patrols to the appropriate authorities or management.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as needed.
• Support retail staff and visitors by addressing security-related concerns and providing assistance as requested.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or disruptive behavior within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
