The Center includes four classrooms/programs: Infants (6 weeks - 12 months), Toddler (12 through 24 months), Junior Preschool (2 through 3.5 year-olds), and Senior preschool (3.5 through 5 year-olds). The Lead Teacher (Teacher, Early Childhood II) position will be for the Toddler classroom. The Center serves two primary purposes:
Responsibilities The person selected for the position of an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an individualized developmentally-based and/or integrated thematic/project approach curriculum as appropriate. In addition, the ECE Teacher is directly responsible for supervising, mentoring, training, and/or working closely with other teaching staff, university practicum students, and program parents to ensure that continuity of quality care and education is maintained according to national accreditation standards. The general work schedule is Monday through Friday (full-time) with variable hours between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM. More specifically, the ECE Teacher:
