Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is looking for a dedicated Mental Health Technician 1 to join the CATS (Comprehensive Addiction Treatment Services) team. This role is Full-time varied schedule night Shift working 3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. We offer great pay based on experience! Mental Health Technician 1 - Job Responsibilities:



  • The Mental Health Technician 1 assists in the delivery of direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • Collaborates with care team members in implementing a plan of care to meet individualized and developmental patient care outcomes.
  • Partners with Registered Nurse to create a professional development plan to provide team members with the necessary skills to deliver up to date patient care.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Education: High School or GED
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association- upon start


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Clinical/medical background
  • Experience in Mental Health field
