Waymo's Product Management Team is a mission-driven team responsible for writing and enacting first-of-their-kind playbooks to bring fully autonomous driving technology to market. Our team develops simple solutions for complex problems by orchestrating cross-functional efforts to safely drive Waymo's technology and the products it enables forward. We do this by understanding the customer, the business, and the technology. We are humble about the scope of our work, collaborative in our approach to problem-solving, and ambitious about our vision for the future.

In this role, you will report to a Group Product Manager

You will:



  • Own our roadmap & timelines for airport expansions in our new & existing cities and continuously find ways to lower lead times.
  • Lead the xfn team across policy, partnerships, engineering, legal to execute on our airport launches.
  • Strategically think about our airport trip growth and put together a roadmap to increase trips through a combination of user programs, rider incentives, airport experience features, etc.


You have:



  • 3-5 years of Product Management experience
  • Engineering or other highly analytical degree
  • Ability to translate company-level objectives to team-level priorities and build a product roadmap to achieve those outcomes
  • Strong mix of product development skills, including user experience thinking, analytics, process management, and engineering / data science depth
  • Strong negotiation & empathy skills working with external stakeholders & business partners


We prefer:



  • Experience working in the transportation space specifical the airport industry
  • Experience working at a growth stage company in the ridesharing, delivery, or logistics industries
  • Demonstrated data analytics experience (SQL, data analysis, etc)
  • Ability & interest in going deep into quantitative challenges, whether into a specific product feature or developing a broader financial model
  • Excitement to work on a variety of project types; ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter
  • MBA or Consulting experience


Travel



  • Light travel to new (or existing) airports we are expanding into or have launched

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the role location or, if the role can be performed remote, the specific salary range for your preferred location, during the hiring process.

Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo's discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
