Job Description:

The Facilities Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a team of facilities professionals in support of semiconductor manufacturing operations. This role oversees critical infrastructure systems, ensures compliance with environmental and safety regulations, and drives operational excellence in facilities services. The position reflects a seasoned manager with site oversight, cross-functional leadership, and accountability for team performance and facility reliability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors responsible for facilities operations across semiconductor cleanrooms, labs, and support areas.

  • Oversee the operation, design, construction, commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of critical systems including HVAC, ultrapure water, process gases, electrical distribution, and waste treatment.

  • Provide technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, controls, and process utility systems to support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for facility upgrades, capacity expansion, and sustainability initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including OSHA, EPA, and semiconductor-specific standards.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, EHS, and engineering teams to support production goals and minimize downtime.

  • Manage budgets, vendor contracts, and capital projects related to facilities infrastructure.

  • Implement and monitor KPIs for reliability, energy efficiency, and service delivery.

  • Serve as a key point of contact during audits, inspections, and emergency response situations.
