Job Description

Benefits:

Signode offers a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees, which includes health, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, life insurance, wellness perks, and more. Benefits begin the month following the hire date.

Salary:

The annual salary for this position ranges from 125,000 - 150,000 + 10% Bonus Target and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting annual salary within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.

Summary:

The Operations Manager oversees and coordinates the daily operations of the organization. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the organization's efficiency, productivity, and the achievement of its objectives.

Essential Functions:

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team productivity.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies and plans to achieve the organization's goals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve operations.
  • Analyze existing processes, and potential risks and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet the organization's operational requirements.
  • Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure products or services meet the organization's expectations.
  • Implement quality assurance processes and corrective actions as needed.
  • Oversee inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining stock levels.
  • Minimize wastage and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Develop and manage budgets for the organization's operational expenses.
  • Control costs and ensure the efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulations and adjust operations accordingly.
  • Responsible for talent management and employee lifecycle activities, from hiring to terminating.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with other departments and senior management within the organization.
  • Collaborate with different teams to streamline processes and achieve common goals for the organization.
  • Create contingency plans for unforeseen challenges within the organization and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED. Associates' degree in business management, operations management, or a related field preferred

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in operations with a track record of progressively increasing responsibilities. Experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong team management skills.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for operations management.
