Job Title: Medical Biller/Collector Location with zip code: Irwindale, CA - 91706 Duration: 6 Months + Payrate : $22/hr. - $31/hr. on W2 without benefits. Shift: 8-4:30 - 1 ^st Note: Do you have an experience with EPIC? How many years of experience do you have in Medical Billing & Collections? Are you comfortable working onsite? There are Two openings 1 Supervisor Role and one Other. Must have: Experience with Physician billing. Must have a leadership experience. Must have experience with professional billing. Job Description: Collects and recovers the payment from patients and insurance companies for delinquent hospital/medical patient accounts. Initiates outbound calls that potentially lead to successful payment or timely arrangement to satisfy delinquent accounts. Extensive knowledge of insurance carrier procedures. Experience with reading Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements Experience with physician and case rate billing and experience with EPIC strongly preferred. Have worked in Professional claims billing and collections and aware of the payor guidelines and EPIC knowledge. Previous leadership experience within revenue cycle, government billing and collection, and understanding Government payor guidelines. Minimum Education: HS diploma or equivalent.
