Job SummaryThis position serves as both the Lab Manager for the Bjorkman Lab and a contributing researcher on a variety of complex, ongoing scientific projects. Managerial responsibilities include conducting safety training for new and current lab members, coordinating equipment installs, maintenance and repairs, overseeing renovation and construction activities within the lab, and managing the ordering, organization, and inventory of lab reagents and supplies. In addition to these administrative duties, the role involves applying scientific knowledge while performing complex scientific research and supporting graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and other Bjorkman Lab personnel in experimental work, tissue culture maintenance, and other laboratory operations.
