Position Summary
Open Rank Faculty Position - Division of Geriatric Medicine, UNC School of Medicine
The Division of Geriatric Medicine at the UNC School of Medicine is seeking a dedicated and passionate Open Rank Faculty to join our esteemed faculty. Our Division, in partnership with the Center for Aging and Health, is committed to excellence in clinical care, education, and research. Faculty members have the opportunity to practice in a variety of settings, including our award-winning interdisciplinary Geriatrics Clinic, continuing care retirement communities, skilled nursing facilities, home care, and the Acute Care of the Elderly Inpatient Service. UNC School of Medicine is proud to be ranked #1 in Primary Care by U.S. News & World Report. Our educational and training programs are supported by prestigious organizations including the Health Resources and Services Administration, the Duke Endowment, the Moore Foundation, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the National Institute on Aging. We offer robust research training through programs such as the NIA-funded T35 Medical Student Training in Aging ( MSTAR) and the T32 program in Geriatric Oncology. Clinical Investigators will find rich opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration across UNC's unique five-school Health Affairs campus, which includes the Schools of Public Health, Pharmacy, Nursing, Social Work, and Medicine. UNC also hosts renowned research centers such as the NIH-funded Translational and Clinical Sciences Institute, the Cecil G. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
MD with residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine and PHD

Board Certified/Board Eligible Geriatricians
