Georgia-Pacific is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Stores Leader for the Bowling Green Storeroom!

Our Stores Leader plays a critical role in maintaining safe, accurate, and efficient storeroom operations. You will lead the storeroom team responsible for inventory management, receiving, shipping, internal transfers, and repair processes. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure materials are available to support smooth operations.

The role involves maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring inventory accuracy, managing vendor relationships, and driving continuous improvement in storeroom processes aligned with Principle Based Management (PBM) and Koch's vision.

Our work environment is primarily indoors within the storeroom facility. This role may require lifting materials, operating forklifts (sit-down and standup), and driving Cushman vehicles to facilitate deliveries and material handling. Flexibility to support multiple shifts or extended hours may be required.

The Bowling Green storeroom team is a vital part of Koch's Consumer Products Group, supporting manufacturing and maintenance operations by ensuring timely and accurate materials availability. What You Will Do

  • Take ownership of maintaining a safe storeroom environment by identifying and addressing hazards immediately and promoting PPE compliance.
  • Lead storeroom team members by communicating Koch's vision and PBM principles, fostering transparency, engagement, and accountability.
  • Oversee inventory management activities including cycle counts, audits, and managing overmax, over/short/damaged/discrepant (OSD&D) deliveries in partnership with Purchasing.
  • Ensure timely receiving of materials (within 24 hours) with 100% accuracy to facilitate prompt invoice payments and material availability.
  • Manage shipping, packaging, and delivery operations to ensure parts and materials reach correct destinations safely and on time.
  • Maintain storeroom organization, labeling, and security, including satellite storeroom locations.
  • Utilize technology tools such as S4/EWM, Ariba, scanners, and reporting dashboards (SQL/Tableau) to monitor KPIs and drive process improvements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to train new employees and support process standardization across teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Purchasing, Accounting, Material Coordinators, and Manufacturing to resolve issues and improve workflows.
  • Participate actively in safety committees, risk reduction efforts, and safety tracking systems (TRAX).
  • Delegate tasks appropriately during absences to maintain seamless operations.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage a team.
  • Strong knowledge of storeroom operations, inventory management, and warehouse processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP warehouse systems such as SAP S4/HANA and Ariba.
  • Skilled in data analysis and KPI monitoring using tools like Excel, SQL, and Tableau.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance within environmental and operational standards.
  • Willingness to lift materials as required and work in a physically active environment.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Forklift operator license (sit-down and stand-up) and ability to operate Cushman vehicles.
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial storeroom management.
  • Knowledge of Principle Based Management (PBM) and disciplined operations.
  • Experience with vendor-managed inventory (VMI) and point-of-use inventory models.
  • Previous exposure to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
