In the role of Human Resources Generalist, we'll count on you to:

  • Assist the Area HR Manager and area HR team with a variety of HR-related tasks
  • Coordinate basic employee relations and performance management questions or issues
  • Use corporate HRIS to maintain employee records and process personnel actions
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding and offboarding
  • Provide completed employee paperwork to corporate office
  • Prepare location Affirmative Action Plans and outreach efforts
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, presentations, meetings and conference calls
  • Review employee queries periodically for accuracy of information
  • Coordinate requested compensation market studies with managers and corporate HR as needed
  • Answer basic policy and procedure questions as needed
  • Assist with the coordination of professional development training for staff
  • Work closely as a team with NC Human Resources team members
  • Provide guidance to matrix business partners, and employees on employee relations matters.

Diversity and Inclusion

  • Focus on driving and supporting an inclusive work environment and on integrating diversity and equity into everyday business.
  • Assist with diversity, equity and inclusion functions and positive initiatives.

    Compensation and Benefits

  • Understand basic HDR benefit plan provisions, in order to assist employees with benefit-related questions and issues and refer more complex questions to Area HR Manager.

Recruitment

  • Create employment requisitions for hiring managers, coordinate interview schedules, make candidate travel arrangements, track decisions of hiring managers on resumes, assist with documentation of annual recruiting plans, coordinate immigration information with Mobility & Immigrations
  • Coordinate career fairs and create marketing materials
  • Administratively track intern recruiting process from start to finish through to hire.
  • Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business, or related field
  • 3-5 years of HR experience
  • Excellent customer service and people skills

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum three years related experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication including proofreading, strong client service ability and excellent telephone skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and various managers in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and detail oriented
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
