Talent Sourcing Specialist

SUMMARY

The Talent Sourcing Specialist supports the recruitment of remote and offshore medic and safety professionals across the U.S. market. In this role, you will identify, engage and qualify top talent while collaborating closely with recruiters and hiring managers to address both ongoing and high-priority hiring needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:



  • Source and identify qualified candidates using job boards, professional networking sites, internal databases, and social media platforms
  • Conduct outbound outreach to engage both active and passive candidates through email, phone, and messaging platforms
  • Perform initial candidate screening, including qualification and credential review, before transitioning candidates to recruiters
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring, niche, and high-volume roles
  • Support recruiters with interview scheduling, candidate communication, and applicant tracking system (ATS) updates
  • Maintain accurate and compliant candidate records in accordance with US hiring standards
  • Deliver a positive, professional candidate experience throughout the early stages of the recruitment process
  • Other duties as required

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:



  • Prior experience in recruiting or talent sourcing
  • Experience recruiting for oil & gas, healthcare or safety-related roles
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools


COMPUTER SKILLS:



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and general computer & technology literacy


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:



  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail, particularly when reviewing licenses, certifications, and role requirements
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a recruiting team
  • Able to build rapport with candidates and sell the role
  • Strong time management and organizational skills required to effectively manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously



LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
