Responsibilities
  • Develop a strong understanding of Azure Firewall features and customer scenarios, applying AIdriven insights to identify opportunities for feature enhancements.
  • Contribute to market research and competitive analysis to ensure strong productmarket fit.
  • Participate in scenario walkthroughs, feature previews, and strategy discussions to drive customer and partner engagement.
  • Track product performance metrics, customer feedback, and support signals to help inform product improvements.
  • Support community engagement and contribute to product launch planning and execution.


Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
    • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 1+ year(s) experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
  • Knowledge of L3-L7 networking, including routing, NAT, load balancing, TLS, and traffic inspection
  • 1+ year(s) experience designing and operating enterprisescale network security platforms, such as Firewall, WAF, DDoS, in cloud environments

Product Management IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $84,200 - $165,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $109,000 - $180,400 per year.
