About JLL Design Services (formerly Big Red Rooster):

JLL Design Services is the design and architecture division of JLL, offering a comprehensive range of services to enhance commercial real estate assets and create unique work environments. What the job involves:

We're looking for a talented individual to join our Strategy team as an intern. The ideal candidate is motivated by finding solutions to the new strategic challenges we solve daily. The role of this individual will be to support client work and new business opportunities.


As a Strategy Intern at JLL, you will:

  • Support client work and/or new business efforts through trend analysis and secondary research utilizing a mix of subscription services and publicly available information

  • Work in collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Miro - both in synchronous and asynchronous scenarios

  • Assist as needed on primary research needs inclusive of qualitative research, quantitative research and field work

  • Conduct competitive landscape analysis and brand reviews using a mix of secondary sources, digital audits and in-store audits.

  • Acts as a critical liaison and thought partner to the internal strategy and creative team members, participating in collaborative work sessions frequently

  • Lead and conduct a longitudinal project designed to further the capabilities of the strategy department. Present findings to senior leadership

  • Assist in other areas of the business as needed

  • Interact regularly with team members as needed for the completion of assigned projects

Education, Skills, and Experience

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree, with 2-3 years completed, in any field.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Independent thinking and working ability.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications.

  • Ability to collaborate with multiple people on diverse projects and meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrated initiative-taking capability.

  • Prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and gain broad experience in Commercial Real Estate.

  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Responsive to feedback and direction.

  • High level of intellectual curiosity.

  • Good listening skills.

  • Able to follow written or verbal instructions.

  • Can work independently or with minimal supervision.

We do not offer relocation assistance or housing for our internship program.

Permanent US work authorization required.
