Join Ecolab as aSr. Business Development Manager within our Nalco division supportingthe Global High Tech (GHT) segment.

Ecolab is advancing the future of data center sustainability through innovative cooling and water management solutions. As the Senior Business Development Manager for Cooling-as-a-Service (CaaS), CDU, and Liquid Cooling Equipment, you will lead the commercial expansion of Ecolab's integrated cooling technologies for hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centers

The Sr. Business Development Manager will lead the growth initiatives with global clients in the High Tech sector, focusing on solutions for Data Centers. This professional will be responsible for identifying opportunities, conducting strategic negotiations, and managing complex contracts, acting as a bridge between client needs and the company's solutions.

This role centers on shaping new business models around cooling infrastructure-transforming capital-intensive cooling assets into value-based service offerings. You will drive strategic partnerships, identify growth opportunities, and deliver scalable commercial solutions that align with Ecolab's mission to help customers operate more efficiently and sustainably

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute growth strategies for global accounts in the High Tech segment.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to contract closure.
  • Conduct high-level commercial negotiations, including contractual terms, SLAs, and long-term agreements.
  • Drive new customer acquisition and manage a significant volume of deals and target account pipelines.
  • Respond to inbound lead generation, leveraging sales expertise to close new accounts.
  • Use industry knowledge and sales experience to establish credibility with current and prospective clients.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to support strategic decision-making by management.
  • Collaborate with technical, operational, and internal stakeholders to ensure deliveries meet client expectations and secure new business.
  • Transition customers to the account management team responsible for post-sales support.
  • Monitor market trends and developments in the Data Center and Technology sectors.
  • Represent the company in international meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Manage a team of Business Development Managers

Position Details

  • Candidate must reside within a commutable distance of a major US airport
  • 50% overnight travel required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
  • 10 years of successful experience in technical or external sales, using a consultative approach
  • Knowledge of the Data Center sector, including operating models, sustainability, and security.
  • Experience with commercial contracts and complex negotiations in regulated environments.
  • Experience working in, or familiarity with, industrial environments
  • Possess a valid US Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or technical master's degree in engineering or operations
  • Previous experience with multinational clients in the High Tech sector.
  • Familiarity with sustainable and digital solutions applied to data centers.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

Base salary range is $133,800 - $200,800. Role is eligible for 25% incentive compensation based on performance metric(s), per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
