Shore United Bank is seeking a full-time Market Executive to join our team.The Market Executive is responsible for overseeing and supporting the performance of a regional business development team by aligning sales strategies with the bank's objectives, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining strong community and client engagement. This role plays a key part in achieving market-level growth targets and fostering cross-functional collaboration across departments.

Essential Functions Include:



  • Successfully lead and manage a business development team consisting of, but not limited to, Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers and Loan Portfolio Specialists.
  • Work with management of other lines of business to develop and execute targeted business development initiatives that are in line with the bank strategic plan.
  • Achieve target sales goals individually and for the market, including loan production, deposit production, and referral goals.
  • May participate in direct customer meetings to increase the opportunities to retain or enhance relationships.
  • Ensures proper staffing for the assigned region; staffing levels that reflect efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness.
  • Review nCino reports on a regular basis to ensure the team is conducting the appropriate level of activities to achieve target goals.
  • Works with management to develop annual sales goals.
  • Assess and report to management market conditions and activity in the respective market area.
  • Handles inquiries and/or client issues related to the assigned region that are of more than a routine nature.
  • Coordinates regularly scheduled meetings with the team, to include other lines of business within the bank.
  • This role is expected to actively participate in community events and maintain a membership(s) in local, non-profit organizations (preferably in an executive/board role)..
  • Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g., Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, SAFE Act, etc.; ensures that the office and all personnel adhere to the same.
  • Participates in required training sessions, including training for compliance with BSA/AML policies and procedures.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:



  • Full-time
  • Exempt
  • Days of Work: Monday-Friday


Required Education and Experience:



  • A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field normally required, specialized banking education and training.
  • Minimum of 7-years of experience in commercial banking.


Compensation:



  • The pay range for this position is $161,000.00 to $245,000.00 annually.
  • Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
