About This Role

Togetherwork is seeking a Designer I to serve as a hands-on, execution-focused design partner within our Product & Strategy organization.

This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in close collaboration with Product and Engineering, enjoys translating strategy into execution-ready work, and is motivated by delivering exceptional customer experiences at scale. Designer I roles are embedded within product teams and support one or more product leaders across a portfolio of products.

You will play a critical role in ensuring product teams are prepared for successful delivery-bringing clarity, usability, and visual excellence to every experience we ship.


What You'll Do
Product & Customer-Centered Design Execution


  • Partner closely with Product Leaders and Product Owners to shape, prioritize, and execute design work across one or more products.



  • Translate customer needs, product strategy, and quarterly priorities into clear user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.



  • Lead or support customer-facing design sprints to validate concepts, workflows, and usability.



  • Advocate relentlessly for the customer, ensuring experiences are intuitive, accessible, and impactful.




Sprint Readiness & Delivery Enablement


  • Prepare acceptance-ready design assets, specifications, and documentation ahead of quarterly planning.



  • Ensure product teams are sprint-ready by delivering clear, well-defined design work prior to execution.



  • Collaborate closely with Engineering partners to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented with high quality.




Design Systems & Quality


  • Apply and contribute to shared design systems, component libraries, and reusable patterns to ensure consistency and scalability.



  • Create award-caliber visual and interaction designs that elevate the Togetherwork product experience.



  • Continuously evaluate existing experiences and push for measurable improvements in usability, clarity, and polish.




Modern Design Practice & Craft


  • Leverage AI-assisted design tools to accelerate ideation, prototyping, synthesis, and iteration.



  • Participate actively in design critiques, feedback sessions, and cross-team collaboration.



  • Contribute to raising the overall design bar across Togetherwork's product portfolio.




What You'll Bring
Experience


  • 3-5 years of experience in UX, UI, or product design.



  • Proven experience working as an embedded designer within agile product teams.



  • Hands-on experience supporting customer-facing design work and discovery efforts.




Skills & Capabilities


  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered thinking, visual craftsmanship, and high-quality execution.



  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, libraries, and shared design systems.



  • Solid understanding of usability principles, accessibility standards, and modern UX best practices.



  • Experience preparing design work in advance of quarterly planning or sprint execution.



  • Ability to clearly communicate design decisions and influence outcomes through collaboration.
