Job Description

The HR Business Applications leader will report to the Director of G&A Business Applications within the org of the Chief Accounting Officer. Our organization is preparing for a multi-year technology modernization including a ground up rebuilding of the core HCM, Financial Management, CRM, and automation/integration technologies. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on HRIS leader to spearhead the HCM modernization and ultimately build out a team for ongoing enhancements, employee engagement technologies, and applied ai. You will also be exposed to modern technology. Workday will be our core HCM and we will drive innovation in and around it through modern orchestration technology and workplace ai

Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to

    Serve as primary technical lead on Workday HCM/Payroll/Benefits implementation. Lead design decisions such as position management
  • Develop strong business partnering relationships with HR leadership, Data function leadership, and FP&A leadership
  • Functionally advise on core integration design for external recruiting, global payroll, etc...
  • Work with Director, G&A systems to scope and plan additional phases of technology modernization
  • Build team in alignment with business objectives and company growth
  • Implement support and enhancement operating model including visible sprint planning
  • Lead Phase X deployments of learning, help, peakon, global payrol, etc...
  • Collaborate and advise on workplace ai technology implementation
  • Work closely with integration/automation leads to continually enhance application connectivity for integration, analytics, and agentic workflows

Qualifications For This Role Are

  • 8+ years experience with Workday HCM and/or similar HRIS technologies
  • Strong understanding of core HCM, compensation, and bonus modules such as learning, recruiting, time, absence, payroll
  • People management experience preferred
  • A keen interest in the "why" of decision making and what business context drives the goals of our teams and our org
  • Data Driven. You leverage data to help guide decisions and challenge existing assumptions
  • Relationship oriented. You know how to work across departments to navigate ambiguity and get things done

Location:

  • Preference for New York City or remote EST
  • Other remote locations will still be considered and are encouraged to apply

Salary Range for this role will be: $113,000 - $210,000
