Senior Platform Engineer

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Platform Engineer to support our on-premise datacenter in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will blend skills from Platform Engineering, Systems Administration, Virtualization, and Networking to solve complex problems with on-premise infrastructure. The position is remote and requires being on-premise as needed at the datacenter.

What you will do:

In this role you will join a highly diverse team of Platform, Network, Cloud and Software Engineers to help support mission critical systems. You will work closely with our Staff Platform Engineer to support our on-premise infrastructure and applications.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 4-6 years of hands-on experience managing/maintaining on-premise infrastructure
• Extensive knowledge of VMware or other virtualization products
• Strong Networking skills
• Backup orchestration and architecture
• Strong Systems Administration Skills
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Telecommunications
