Job Title: GIS Technician I. Location: Richmond, VA. Description of the role: Editing GIS to display Fiber cable, as it is installed. Works in GIS and database applications modeling electric utility distribution systems and fiber optic cables. Requires understanding of functional business processes related to design, construction, and operations, and a working understanding of data attributes supporting these processes. Requires ability to create a connected model replicating the electric distribution system. Performs and manages QA/QC processes. Must be available for emergency and planned overtime.
