Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. Job Title: Senior Programmer Analyst. Location: Richmond, VA. High Level Project Overview: Programming support for Fuels Projects.
  • A Programmer Analyst will work in support of corporate strategic planning as a bridge to close the gap between technical programming and system analysis.
  • They will be responsible for understanding business needs and translating them into technical solutions through software development and system management.
Top 3 Required Skills:
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience using .Net Programming Skills (please ensure clear on resume when and when last used).
  • Knowledge of database structures and management systems- high preference for candidates with experience in large, regulated industry environments.
  • Minimum of 4 years in seat as a System Analyst.
What soft skill requirements do you have (team fit and personality requirements)?
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Ability to maintain composure in high intensity situations.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
  • System Analysis and Design: Analyze existing systems and business processes to identify requirements and design solutions.
  • Software Development: Write, test, and debug programs, ensuring they meet specifications and are functional.
  • System Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting for systems and applications.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with various stakeholders, including business users, other developers, and IT teams, to understand needs and explain technical concepts.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, such as user manuals and system design documents.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues within systems and applications.
Required Education:
  • Degree(s) related to computer science.
Required Years of Experience:
  • 4 years of directly related experience.
