Job Title: Senior Programmer Analyst. Location: Richmond, VA. High Level Project Overview: Programming support for Fuels Projects. A Programmer Analyst will work in support of corporate strategic planning as a bridge to close the gap between technical programming and system analysis. They will be responsible for understanding business needs and translating them into technical solutions through software development and system management. Top 3 Required Skills: Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience using .Net Programming Skills (please ensure clear on resume when and when last used). Knowledge of database structures and management systems- high preference for candidates with experience in large, regulated industry environments. Minimum of 4 years in seat as a System Analyst. What soft skill requirements do you have (team fit and personality requirements)? Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams. Nice to Have Skills: Ability to maintain composure in high intensity situations. Key Responsibilities and Skills: System Analysis and Design: Analyze existing systems and business processes to identify requirements and design solutions. Software Development: Write, test, and debug programs, ensuring they meet specifications and are functional. System Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting for systems and applications. Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with various stakeholders, including business users, other developers, and IT teams, to understand needs and explain technical concepts. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, such as user manuals and system design documents. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues within systems and applications. Required Education: Degree(s) related to computer science. Required Years of Experience: 4 years of directly related experience.
