Responsibilities

The Cyber Security Analyst - API & Workflow Automation will provide technical expertise related to the implementation of Application Programming Interface (API) code capabilities, made available to software products by application vendors. This role involves the creation & provisioning of APIs between two or more software applications, integration of data from disparate sources into combined visualization environments (workflow automation, create queries, manage data, report on data, create dashboards) that present data and enable creative custom data analysis that may or may not be available in the original (source) software.



Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Required qualifications:

    3 to 5 years work experience using APIs to develop enterprise-level workflows, cross-platform API integrations or direct experience with provisioning 3rd party, integrated API implementations.
  1. 3 to 5 years work experience with Object Oriented Programming Language (OOPL) or equivalent scripting or programming experience (JSON, Python, .NET, etc.).
  2. Familiarity with common APIs including, but are not limited to: SOAP, RPC, Websocket, REST and other proprietary API formats.
  3. Associate Degree in Computer Science and Engineering or IT Graduate.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  2. Excellent Technical English Communication Skills (Verbal/Written).
  3. Training & experience with Technical writing.
  4. Experience using 3rd party Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Analytics visualization platforms (Qlik Sense, Tableau, Zoho, Microsoft Power BI, Dundas, Sisense, etc.) in conjunction with APIs & Workflow Automation Modeling.
