Description Acara Solutions is seeking an Accounting Manager with strong Epicor ERP experience to lead manufacturing accounting and financial operations for our client located in San Jose CA 95131. This is a Full Time Direct Hire opportunity. Salary: 140-160K Health, Dental, Vision insurance 401k with company match PTO This role owns cost accounting, inventory, WIP, and production reporting, ensuring data integrity from the shop floor through the general ledger. The ideal candidate understands manufacturing economics, can explain the "why" behind the numbers, and knows how to optimize Epicor for accurate, timely reporting. Key Responsibilities Own job costing, standard costing, and variance analysis using Epicor Job Management and Job Tracker Manage inventory and WIP accounting, ensuring accurate valuation of raw materials and finished goods Maintain and audit Epicor posting rules, GL controls, and fiscal calendars Lead month-end close in Epicor, reconciling AP, AR, inventory, and production transactions Prepare monthly financial statements using Epicor Financial Management, dashboards, BAQs, and SSRS Partner with Engineering and Operations to audit BOMs, routings, and labor standards Support ERP optimization initiatives to improve reporting speed, accuracy, and visibility Provide support for audits, internal controls, and management reporting Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance 3 years minimum of hands-on Epicor ERP experience (Kinetic, E10, or E9 preferred) Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Strong background in manufacturing accounting, including standard costing, variances, inventory, and WIP Proficiency with Epicor Dashboards, BAQs, SSRS, and advanced Excel Experience working closely with plant operations and production teams After you apply, you may receive a call or message from our AI Talent Scout about this role or other opportunities that match your skills and preferences.
