This role is responsible for ensuring inventory availability to meet customer demand across the pharmacy network for pharmaceutical products, materials and supplies. The Supply Planner role translates demand forecasts into executable supply plans, collaborates with suppliers, and manages replenishment strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels. The position is critical for supporting patient care by ensuring timely product availability without overstock or shortages.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain supply plans and safety stock policies aligned with demand forecasts and business objectives
  • Collaborate with suppliers and share planned purchase plans to ensure timely replenishment and resolve supply constraints
  • Collaborate across internal teams, including pharmacy site operations, clinical support and purchasing, to ensure timely replenishment and resolve supply constraints
  • Monitor inventory levels across home delivery, specialty, and infusion pharmacies; adjust plans to prevent stockouts or excess
  • Analyze supply plan performance, identify root causes of variances, and implement corrective actions
  • Partner with Demand Planning to validate forecast signals and translate them into actionable supply strategies
  • Communicate supply risks and mitigation plans to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Support new product launches, formulary changes, and product phase-outs with proactive supply planning
  • Operate independently, managing day-to-day responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance inventory optimization and supplier collaboration

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, supply chain analytics, or operations preferably in healthcare or pharmaceuticals
  • Experience mentoring or coaching others, providing feedback, and guiding team members through complex challenges
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Supply Chain Planning platforms (e.g., Kinaxis Maestro, SAP IBP, Oracle, or similar platforms)
  • Proven solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable plans
  • Proven excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally across teams such as Suppliers, Operations, Purchasing and Finance
  • Proven solid analytical skills to interpret supply and inventory data and drive actionable decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive results with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex issues clearly, both verbally and in writing, to stakeholders at various levels

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Statistics, or a related field
  • APICS/ASCM certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP)
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and inventory optimization strategies
  • Proven solid business acumen and the ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders without direct authority

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
