What You Will Do:

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for all Biomedical Services product areas or lines of service-including core blood products, Laboratory Services and Therapeutic and Cellular Solutions. This includes positioning and messaging, support/tools, internal and external product presentations, and event strategy to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
  • Plan and execute launches of new products and updates to existing products, including price changes, and manage the cross-functional implementation of these plans.
  • Study market intelligence to understand and document the buyer's process and drive changes to sales and marketing processes based on findings. Understand the needs of new customer segments, competitive landscape, pricing strategies and develop product marketing plans to extend the business into new markets. Track and report on effectiveness of marketing campaigns and analyze data and feedback around product performance and marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate sales and related marketing plan execution activities across various internal departments to achieve product marketing objectives.
  • Develop and execute ad hoc marketing initiatives and specialty requests including revenue generation plans and product launches, product marketing budget, and performance.
  • Analyze data and feedback around product performance and marketing efforts through product marketing scorecard.
  • Develop and execute internal tools and external collateral to enable Hospital Sales, Marketing, Pricing teams, and Medical Office to maximize their efforts. This includes a level of content development such as writing and presentation development for external audiences. Lead special process improvement, infrastructure, and/or operational initiatives as needed to strengthen product position and performance, and to achieve product and other organizational goals.

*This position is remote based and can sit anywhere nationwide.*

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field or combination of education and work experience. Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience to include market-facing role delivering presentations, enabling sales, conducting competitor analysis and market research required. Skills & Abilities: * Exceptional ROI-tracking skills with ability to prove what is-or-is not working. * Strong public speaking skills in front of large groups. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent program management skills with ability to successfully interact and collaborate with colleagues and lead cross-functional teams. * Ability to translate technical details into benefits for the user/buyer. * Ability to follow and analyze market trends to position products. * Ability to work on a team. Some travel required.

The salary range for this position is $95,000.00 - $100,000.00/annually.

Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
