The Custodian II position is part of the Campus Facilities Management (CFM) team and is responsible for performing routine, manual work utilizing knowledge of various custodial materials, equipment, methods and procedures used in maintaining a clean, neat and orderly building. May clean, sweep and remove trash from multiple campus facilities and buildings, and provide emergency support with emergency situations as they arise. Responsibilities may include maintenance of designated buildings and related fixtures and routine repair of fixed equipment and buildings. Work is subject to spot checking for neatness, cleanliness and workmanship with periodic review for overall effectiveness. Functional contacts include co-workers, service department employees and all personnel utilizing building facilities. Key Responsibilities

Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $16.00 to $17.00 per hour. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements. Shift differential of $1.00 per hour for eligible shifts (see HR-213 Shift Differential for more information) Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
