Meetings & Events Manager - on-site, Atlanta, Georgia

Step into an electrifying role where you'll be the mastermind behind extraordinary workplace experiences! As our Workplace Experience Meeting and Events Conference Center Manager, you'll orchestrate seamless events across our prestigious client portfolio while building dynamic relationships that drive success. This high-impact, client-facing position puts you at the center of it all-from developing comprehensive event strategies to delivering flawless execution in our state-of-the-art conference spaces. You'll thrive in this fast-paced environment where your exceptional communication skills, strategic leadership, and meticulous attention to detail transform ordinary gatherings into unforgettable experiences that exceed every expectation.

Here is some of your day:

  • Build Strategic Partnerships - Cultivate strong relationships with client business units to understand their unique goals and develop tailored meeting and event strategies that drive organizational success
  • Lead End-to-End Event Management - Oversee comprehensive planning, strategy development, optimization, and flawless execution of all meetings and events across the portfolio
  • Drive Performance Excellence - Establish challenging yet achievable goals and key performance metrics aligned with client objectives to continuously enhance program effectiveness and attendee experience
  • Champion Innovation & Best Practices - Stay current on industry trends and innovations while identifying opportunities to implement cutting-edge solutions and process improvements
  • Manage High-Stakes Executive Events - Demonstrate expertise in orchestrating complex, high-profile meetings with senior executive participation, ensuring meticulous planning and seamless support
  • Serve as Central Command - Act as the primary liaison coordinating between internal stakeholders, external vendors, and venue management to ensure unified service delivery
  • Foster Continuous Improvement - Collect and analyze feedback from stakeholders and attendees to drive ongoing program enhancements and service optimization
  • Develop Team Excellence - Design and facilitate comprehensive training programs for employees, covering customer experience, onboarding, and ongoing professional development initiatives

Here is who we are looking for:

Required

  • Extensive Leadership Experience - 5+ years in meeting and event planning, project management, or hospitality with proven supervisory experience and demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver exceptional results in dynamic, fast-paced environments
  • Executive-Level Client Management - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with experience working across all organizational levels, including C-suite executives, combined with professional demeanor and the flexibility to balance competing priorities while maintaining respect and consideration for all stakeholders
  • Strategic Problem-Solving Expertise - Strong analytical and financial aptitude with the ability to quickly gather data, assess complex situations, develop innovative solutions, and collaborate effectively to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Technical Proficiency & Adaptability - Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook) with the ability to multi-task effectively, adapt to changing circumstances, and maintain high-quality deliverables across diverse projects and client requirements

Preferred

  • CMP certification
  • A bachelors degree or higher

Pay $80,000-85,000 annually, with a 10% targeted bonus of the annual salary

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with flexibility needed for events (typically after-hours)

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
