We are seeking a Demand Planner for a 9-month hybrid engagement in Beaverton, OR, where your expertise will directly influence critical supply chain decisions and market responsiveness. In this position, you will be instrumental in forecasting demand, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring seamless product flow for a key product category. You will play a vital role in connecting various operational functions, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities



  • Lead the demand planning process for a key product category, translating market insights into actionable forecasts.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in product demand and inventory.
  • Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to align on demand plans and inventory strategies.
  • Develop and maintain robust reporting tools to monitor key performance indicators and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing the end-to-end supply chain.


Qualifications



  • Proficiency with data analysis tools, particularly Microsoft Excel, and a strong comfort level with numerical data.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a highly collaborative and matrixed organizational structure.
  • Exceptional soft skills, including strong communication, interpersonal abilities, genuine curiosity, and enthusiasm for the role.
  • Deep understanding of key retail metrics (e.g., retail sales, inventory turnover, inventory levels, revenue, margin) and the ability to efficiently manipulate and interpret related data.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain analytics role.
  • A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred, or equivalent experience (5+ years) will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience working with large, complex global organizations.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40.80 to $45.33 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location
