Job Summary

The Manager, Leadership Capability & Strategy is a strategic individual contributor responsible for shaping and advancing CDW's enterprise leadership capability framework and development strategy. This role focuses on diagnosing leadership capability needs, designing future-ready development architecture, and elevating the quality and impact of leadership solutions across the organization. Serving as a thought partner to the Director of Learning Strategy & Enablement, HR Business Partners, and business leaders, this role ensures leadership development is aligned to CDW's Leadership Model, business priorities, and long-term talent strategy. The role establishes standards, defines approaches, and guides the evolution of leadership development experiences delivered across the enterprise.

What you'll do

  • Define and evolve the enterprise leadership capability framework aligned to the CDW Leadership Model and talent strategy.
  • Identify future leadership capabilities required for business growth and transformation.
  • Establish design principles and quality standards for leadership development solutions.
  • Ensure leadership development offerings align to leadership maturity levels and pipeline needs.
  • Lead leadership capability assessments and needs analysis in partnership with HRBPs and business leaders.
  • Translate business and talent priorities into leadership development strategies and roadmaps.
  • Serve as an internal consultant to recommend high-impact development solutions rather than manage program logistics.
  • Design scalable leadership development architectures and learning journeys that can be operationalized by delivery teams.
  • Prototype and pilot innovative leadership development approaches.
  • Guide the evolution of existing leadership programs to meet higher enterprise standards.
  • Define success metrics and evaluation frameworks for leadership development.
  • Monitor effectiveness and recommend improvements based on data and business outcomes.
  • Reduce duplication and ensure cohesion across leadership development offerings.
  • Partner closely with the Director of Learning Strategy & Enablement to align leadership development to enterprise learning strategy.
  • Influence stakeholders across Talent, HR, and the business without direct authority.
  • Elevate leadership development practices across regions and functions.

What we expect of you
Minimum basic requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in leadership development, talent management, or organizational development OR 9+ years of experience in leadership development, talent management, or organizational development
  • Experience designing enterprise leadership frameworks or strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and consultative skills.

Preferred skills, experience and qualities needed

  • Experience in global, technology, or high-growth organizations.
  • Certifications in coaching, assessments, or instructional design.
  • Experience with AI-enabled learning platforms, LXPs, or skills-based systems.

Pay range: $114,000 - $158,800 depending on experience and skill set
Annual bonus target of 10% subject to terms and conditions of plan
