As an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, assist guests and associates, and respond to concerns with professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, and you will operate with strong communication, teamwork, and integrity, reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor for and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or hazards, helping to deter theft and other unwanted activity through visible presence and professional engagement.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site management and/or public law enforcement as needed.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation; support access control and crowd management during peak traffic, special events, and/or store operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
