Job Summary

We are seeking a detial-oriented Programs Intern to support the Programs and Commercial team with contract compliance, program management, and customer relations activites. This internship provides hands-on exposure to contract governance, AS9100 compliance, ERP systems, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced aerospace/manufacturing environment.



The intern will support contract reviews, program tracking, data analysis, and customer communications to ensure timely accurate responses across commercial and military programs.

Job Responsibilities

Contract Compliance & Governance



  • Review contract terms in alignment with GKN OMS and AS9100 guidelines
  • Identify and flag potential contractual risks or compliance gaps
  • Maintain a live contract tracker including due dates, owners, and export compliance details



Program Management Support



  • Assist with cross-functional coordination across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and Quality
  • Support demand management and customer program execution activities



ERP & Order Lifecycle Management



  • Learn and apply ERP processes for orders submission, scheduling, and delivery tracking
  • Support data integrity across order and demand planning systems



Data Analysis & Reporting



  • Monitor key performance metrics including lead time, cycle time, and on-time delivery
  • Analyze data to surface trends, risks, and improvement opportunities



Customer Relations & Communication



  • Provide timely, clear updates to customers
  • Document contractual response to orders, changes, or agreements
  • Coordinate issue resolution and internal follow-up



Compliance Readiness & Audit Support



  • Assist with AS9100 audit preparedness and documentation
  • Support compliance reviews and continuous improvement actions


Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications



  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and follow-through
