    Scope of Work

    The clinical nurse, under the ANA scope of practice utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nursing and Operational Leadership according to policies and procedures within an ambulatory setting.

    Radiation oncology nurses specialize in providing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy for cancer treatment. They work closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective treatment.

    This is a PRN nurse position in Radiation Oncology Ambulatory Clinic. The clinic runs M-F 7AM-4PM No weekends or Holidays. The schedule is in 8 hour shifts.

    Qualifications

    • Required Associate's Degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's degree or equivalent.

    • Preferred Bachelor's Degree B.S.N., or M.S.N., or DNP/PhD - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years required. Preferred effective September 2024.

    • LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

    • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or

    • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required

    • CRT-At least one Certification from preferred list - UNKNOWN Unknown Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation Upon Hire required
