Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative routines as directed, and in collaboration with the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon. Writes preoperative notes, operative notes and discharge summaries. Orders routine laboratory, x-ray, and other tests as appropriate for the surgical patient; obtains patient history and performs physical examinations in all settings in collaboration with primary, attending or consulting physicians and/or other health care personnel. Assists in clinical setting including hospital or clinic based as necessary. Provides education for patient family and other staff as needed. Required to be on call as per the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons request, or as directed by her/his supervisor. May be required to work flexible hours and weekends. Performs other duties that fall within the scope of Nurse Practitioner practice

Education and Experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Possession of current applicable RN license, RN license (WI or IL); Nurse prescriber certification. Meets the requirements determined by the State of WE or IL or to perform duties defined as those of Nurse Practitioner.
Certification and Licensure
Hold valid state RN license CRNFA or RNFA

Lifting patients and equipment. Manual dexterity to operate equipment and perform procedures. Prolonged standing

$85,280.00 - $144,976.00
