Security Officer - Overnight Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Overnight Patrol Driver in Racine, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols of common areas and exterior zones, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and assist guests and tenants with directions, questions, and concerns. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and work as part of a caring, people-first team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, always acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and store staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or hazard concerns for reporting.
• Monitor entrances, loading areas, and other access points; observe for suspicious behavior and report policy violations to site management and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical calls, disruptive persons, lost children, and/or property concerns within post orders.
• Complete detailed shift reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs; communicate notable activity to supervisors and client representatives during shift briefings and/or handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
