Security Officer - Facility Patrol Unarmed

As a Security Officer - Neighborhood Patrol in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a tech and communications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to reports, and document activity with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and help to maintain orderly entry and exit in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, document observations, and escalate to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete routine reports and shift logs, communicate notable activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support site operations during special events and/or heightened activity periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
