The Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute is expanding and opening a new ambulatory oncology clinic at Brigham and Women's Hospital - and we're building the front-line team from the ground up.
In the role of Patient Services Coordinator III (PSC III), you will manage check-in and check-out processes, coordinate scheduling, support provider workflows, and serve as a key point of contact for patients navigating their oncology care. As volume ramps up and the program expands later this year, you'll play a critical role in scaling operations and setting the standard for service excellence. Be part of a high-visibility expansion within one of the nation's leading cancer programs - and help us deliver extraordinary care from the very first patient visit. Summary Performs administrative functions to support smooth and efficient clinical service or practice operations. Performs administrative duties related to patient visits including scheduling, check-in, check-out duties (performs all duties of the other levels at highest proficiency level). Essential Functions -Make patient appointments and maintain appointment records. Assist callers with routine inquiries and schedule appointments. -Acts as "Super User" for scheduling, registration and billing systems. Provides assistance and training to others in these areas. May perform more complex or specialized functions (i.e. surgical scheduling, schedule changes/blocking) at more advanced competency level. -May be required to accept co-payments. Handles, screens and/or takes messages related to prior authorizations, provider questions, prescription refills, and test results.
